Commercial project (May 21, 2019)
- Type of building: Commercial multi-unit condos
- Need: The Garage is a tenant and wants its exterior and interior door locks to work on a key system specific to their business.
- Hardware assessment: The Garage owner takes pictures of each of the doors and locks to show them at our store.
- Recommendations:
- Based on the photos and the client’s info, our locksmith takes notes of the existing locks and the level of security desired, to create a master key system chart
- The customer wants to keep the existing locks as much as possible and adapt them to the new master key system, one at a time.
- Solutions:
- When an employee no longer has access or when there is a renovation of the premises, the owner will only have to change the keying of his existing locks.
- At the same time, he will replace the defective locks.
- Since then, one of our locksmiths has installed a reinforcement plate or adjustments on the premises
- Result:
- The customer manages each of the doors of his Garage with peace of mind and is able to control access to his business.
- A master key that gives him access everywhere and employees have a different key for their limited access.
